Are you looking for an adventure? Looking for a comfortable, yet unique place to stay? Then why not spend a couple of nights "In Jail", or maybe a week or two? The Providence Bay Jail was built in 1912, eventually becoming obsolete and falling into disrepair. W. Blair Sullivan repaired and renovated it using the original oak beams taken from the two cells. The Jail is now a cozy, cute accommodation great for couples and solo adventurers. It's within walking distant to great views, restaurants, and the beach.
The Jail accommodates two people. It has an efficiency kitchen in the sitting/dining area and a bedroom with twin bunk beds along with an adjoining three-piece bath.
Fun side note, those bars you see on the window are original jail bars and the door leading into the bedroom is one of the original cell doors. When completing the building, they used horse shoes for reinforcement in the concrete walls.
Indoor plumbing, bed linens, two-burner range, small refrigerator, toaster, microwave, coffeemaker, outdoor seating, free parking. Bath linen not included.
